The private Jerusalem tour starts with a magnificent overview of Jerusalem city and Birchat Shehechiano. Heading to the old city where you go back in time 3000 years ago and discover the miraculous city of Jerusalem.
We walk on the ancient streets through the Armenian quarter, the Jewish quarter and the Byzantine Cardo, Jerusalem’s main street 1500 years ago. Today the Cardo is one of the key attractions in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City. A section of the Cardo has been renewed into a shopping street, full of unique arts and special goods.
Later we pass through the vibrant market, where smells, flavors and unique merchandise combine into colorful celebration.
We then stroll to the Western Wall (Kotel), Judaism’s most significant site where you can say your prayers and put a note inside the holy wall with your petitions. After that we head back to the car and exit the old city.
We continue the tour with a panoramic view of the new city, passing by the Knesset, the Israeli parliament and the President’s residence. We finish the private tour in Jerusalem by visiting the Israel Museum and Yad Vashem, Israel’s official memorial to the victims of the Holocaust.
