Day 1: Jerusalem Tours & Bethlehem Tours

Our day begins with a dramatic panoramic overview of the new and old city of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, including the Temple Mount in the old city. From the Mount of Olives we travel along the Kidron Valley to view the Garden of Gethsemane and the City Walls. We enter the Old City via the Armenian Quarter and visit the Wailing Wall. Walking through Jerusalem’s Old City Bazaar we reach the Christian Quarter, and follow the Via Dolorosa – the Stations of the Cross- to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the site of the crucifixion. We then make our way to the renovated Jewish Quarter and the Cardo, walking along the old Byzantine main street, dating back  1,700 years.

From the Old City of Jerusalem we head out to Bethlehem, driving via the Nativity Circle. In Bethlehem, we visit the cave where Jesus was born as well as the special Manger Square, which holds the Church of the Nativity, possibly the world’s oldest existing church. We also visit the Milk Grotto, where Mary fed her son. Our last stop in Bethlehem before we return to Jerusalem to end our day, will be to the Shepherds’ Fields and the beautiful Church of the Shepherds’ Fields.

Day 2: Masada Tours and Dead Sea Tours

We begin our descent towards the Judean Desert passing through the Inn of the Good Samaritan. Reaching the foot of Masada, we board a cable car to ascend to the 2000-year-old fortress and palace built by King Herod, and enjoy an exhilarating and illuminating tour of Massada and its dramatic history. Arriving at the Dead Sea, we float in the mineral-rich Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth, situated 400 meters below sea level. There is also an option to take a mud-bath and benefit from the therapeutic qualities of the natural Dead Sea mud. On our drive back to Jerusalem we stop for a panorama view of Jericho and the old Roman Road.
