Tour Description
This two-day tour show you all of the historic highlights of Jerusalem and Bethlehem as we as giving you time to relax and pamper yourself in the Dead Sea.   Day 1: Jerusalem & Bethlehem
The tour starts with a panoramic overview from the Mount of Olives, overlooking the new city of Jerusalem as well as the Temple Mount in the old city. From there we travel along the Kidron Valley to view the Garden of Gethsemane and enter the walls of the city via the Armenian Quarter. We then walk to the Western (Wailing) Wall square via the local Bazaar to the Christian Quarter, the Stations of the Cross  (Via Dolorosa) and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre – the site of the crucifixion. We then stroll down  the Cardo, the 1700 year-old Byzantine main street,  and the renovated Jewish Quarter before departing to Bethlehem. Bethlehem means "the city of bread" (as wheat was grown in the region) and the Old Testament states that it was the birthplace of King David. According to Christian tradition, Jesus was born there as well. We will drive to Bethlehem via Nativity Circle, visit the cave where Jesus was born and the Manger Square, where Jesus was placed after his birth. We also visit the Greek and the Catholic Church and the Milk Grotto Shepherd Fields and visit the church before returning to Jerusalem.

Day 2: Dead Sea Relaxation
The tour descends to the Judean Desert via the Inn of the Good Samaritan and stops for a view of Jericho. You then have time to relax at one of resorts on the shore of the mineral-rich Dead Sea and enjoy the unique experience of floating on your back in the water and rubbing therapeutic Dead Sea mud on your body. On the way back to Jerusalem we will stop by the  Qumran caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.
