Had we known it would be such a great experience we would have planned a longer stay and join more guided tours, with your company, that turned out to be so interesting and unforgettable. I was in Israel from last 21July to 27July for some business meetings and stayed in the Sheraton Moriah Hotel. The company booked me for a day tour to Jerusalem that Friday. The pick-up arrived 7:30AM and was greeted by a charming lady (Haya) and smiling driver (Avi) while I got on the bus. We passed by and visited to the places that Haya mentioned during the start of the tour and it was very organized. The reason for writing this email is to most importantly commend the service that Haya gave to the group. She was very energetic, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the sites/places we visited. On top of that, she was also opinionated and gave insights to she feels or thinks about each story. She was also very attentive and communicated well even if we were composed of around 7 nationalities in the group. It was really delightful listening to Haya throughout the tour that I didn't mind taking strolls especially when we were in Old City. The driver, Avi, was also very smooth in handling/driving the bus and he was very accommodating and helpful while Haya showed some illustrations/pictures in bus throughout the tour. Having that tour to Jerusalem is the best part of my travel in Israel. I think it was also the best tour ever. I'd definitely recommend a tour to Jerusalem to the rest of my colleagues and would have them ask for Egged-with hopes that it would be Haya as the tour guide. She is amazing. Thank you,

I would just like to make some quick comments about a tour I attended with your Company to Jerusalem on Saturday 23rd of May, 2009. I am a visitor from Australia in Israel on business. The Company I work for (FibroLAN) organised a tour for myself and another Australian visitor on Saturday. There was some debate about whether someone from FibroLAN should drive us to Jerusalem or attend with your Company. Your Company was recommended and it was felt we would get more out of the trip with a knowledgeable guide so we went with EG’GED. Well they were right. Our guide was Haya. Haya gave us a fantastic experience. Haya’s knowledge was extensive and she explained things well. Haya told us we would have a two hour walk through Jerusalem but her ability to be flexible with a small group meant that we ended up walking for 3.5 hours which was great. Haya managed to stop when people needed or wanted to (i.e. buy things) stop longer at some sights and less at others depending on the group and still manage to keep us moving. She gently moved the laggers taking photos along (that’s me) while being polite and non offensive. Haya obviously has a passion for what she does and the tour was better for it. She made us feel that the information she passed on was important which made it all the more interesting. I’d like to personally thank Haya for a great tour and yourself for putting together a well organised trip. Haya’s attitude, skill and knowledge made the trip a great experience and our Company will certainly use EG’GED tours again and I will recommend EG’GED tours to anyone in Australia who is planning a trip to Israel. I can tell you that one of the most important things for the Maccabiah participants are your tours. The Maccabiah is the first visit to Israel for many of them and they don't know too much about Israel. So they receive the first strong impression about the country, the Israeli culture and history from your guides. It is a big responsibility but all of your guides were really good, some of them were fantastic. Kol Hakavod. This was my 5th Maccabiah and this was the most organized one from the transportation point of view. All of our athletes  were at the sport venue on time, there wasn't any long waiting for the buses to/from the sport venue and to/from the events. Keep this level for the next Maccabiah! I really thank you all of your efforts, job and contribution to the Maccabiah. Best regards

In July 2009, I was a guest on an Egged charter bus from Haifa to Tel Aviv airport. After paying the bus fare, I had slipped my wallet into my travelling bag. On arrival Ben Gurion airport, I found that my wallet with my passport, cash and credit cards had not made it off the bus with my travelling bag. On contact with the bus company, arrangements were made to help me out of my dilemma. Within two and a half hours, my wallet had been found and was safely delivered intact to me at the airport. I would like to credit the Egged bus company for promptness, efficiency and honesty in returning my wallet. Thank you so much. Shalom!

We had a great time with the 2 day tour in jerusalem,masada,and dead sea. The tour guides Haya,Rafi,and Theli were wonderful. They took the time to explain every stops we made. Shalom,Toda Raba!

I recently took a tour of Masada and the Dead Sea. The trip was absolutely amazing, two of the world\'s most amazing experiences in one day. As we made our way to Masada, points of interest were highlighted, and really served as a great build up for catching a first glimpse of the Dead Sea and then Masada. \r\n\r\nThe other aspect to call out is the amazing organisation of this trip. I received a call at my hotel the morning of the tour, advising me how i would be transferred to the coach from my hotel. \r\n\r\nAn exceptional day from beginning to end.

I recently took the Jerusalem all day tour, Masada & Dead sea, Nazareth & Sea of Galilee, and the Caearea tours booking through Egged. All the tours were great and very inciteful. The tour guides were all very knowledgable and most very entertaining. The problem I had with the tours was really with Egged itself. I was not staying at one of the major hotels they pick up at, or so I thought (I was told later they do pick up at my hotel), so I walked each morning to the closest hotel only 10 minutes away. That was not big deal. However, trying to find out where they would pick me up at was an ordeal. I could not get in touch with them and I was traveling on Friday/Saturday. When I finally got to Jerusalem I was able to get in touch with someone and they were suprised I had not heard from any of the Egged people on where to pick me up. I had emailed several days previous with no response. Once I was at the hotel the bus was 45 minutes late the first morning, 15 minutes late the next morning, and on time for the last 2 tours. I was also shuffled to different tour companies without notification. It seems that when one company does not fill up their tour they will put you with a different company, which is good, but notification would have been nice so I knew who was picking me up. It was all very unorganized in this process. Also, for the Dead Sea & Masada tour I went with my husband I was told to go to the same hotel, apparently he was told to go to a closer hotel. Which means I could have been picked up at that hotel the entire time. Thought the tours were great the company in general really needs to get better organized for the price you pay for these tours. Plus you can go through other tour companies and get a better experience, as I know now.
